Several people have ask. Why isn't my schedule showing on the powerschool app? It doesn't show there until school starts. If you'd like to see your schedule you'll need to go to the main website - www.fpsowls.com. Then click on the powerschool login link. Then log in.

2024 Fastpitch Schedule
MS/HS Schedule Pick up Information:
Schedule pick up for 6-12 grade will be August 5th -8th (Monday through Thursday) from 10am until 2pm in the library.
JOM MS/HS students supplies will be available at this time as well. Mrs. Brown will be in the library to hand out schedules and supplies during this time.
All new enrollments that pre-enrolled and approved will be notified and scheduled to come in to complete enrollments with the counselor next week as well for the middle and high school.
PowerSchool is up and running for students and parents to view schedules online.

Supply List for 24-25
Fairland Public Schools is extremely excited to announce that during the 24-25 school year, every student will enjoy FREE breakfast and FREE lunch EVERY school day. Parents will not need to submit applications to participate in the free/reduced meal program. When enrollment opens on July 1, 2024 the enrollment forms will include a simpler online economically disadvantaged form that will need to be completed to help ensure that FPS receives the proper amount of state aid funding.

Mrs. Dushane represented the Fairland FCCLA chapter in Seattle, Washington by receiving the Advisor Mentor Award. She provides advice and support to new teachers in Family Consumer Science for our State.

Due to the recent passage of House Bill 3958, approved by the Oklahoma Legislature and signed by Governor Stitt, as of July 1, 2024, digital communication between Fairland Public School Staff and students will have updated requirements. The law requires school personnel engaging in electronic or digital communication with an individual student to include the student's parent or guardian, unless the communication occurs through a school-approved platform.
In compliance with the new law, the Fairland Public Schools Board of Education has approved a new policy on Staff-Student Communications that includes the following school-approved platforms at this time:
Google Classroom
School Assigned Email
Classroom Dojo
Schoology
Apptegy Thrillshare
Go Guardian
Remind
PowerSchool
Band App
Staff members with current students listed as "friends" should "unfriend" those students on all social media platforms no later than July 1st, 2024. Again, if employees communicate directly with individual students outside of the approved platforms, parents must be included in that communication.
Please note that this new law and policy do not impact mass communications sent from the district, or a school site, to parents through current communication platforms.

Seniors that just graduated may pick up their packets in the HS office, Monday - Thursday, 9-2. Please pick them up right away as Ginger will be leaving after next week for the rest of the summer.
This packet includes your official transcript as well as other things.
