THE OWLS ARE STATE BOUND. For the 2nd year in a row Fairland FFA takes home a state qualifying spot at the regional occ contest and will be advancing to the state finals next Tuesday in Stillwater. Fairland was also the only school with two teams in the top 5.
Folks, if you happen to run into any of these students, be sure to commend them on a job well done. Past any awards or accolades, through the opening ceremonies they have learned to be better communicators, better leaders, and better people.

The Cherokee Nation Angel Project is now accepting applications through the Gadugi Portal until October 30th.
Eligible Cherokee Nation citizens must be registered on the tribe’s online Gadugi Portal, which can be accessed at: https://gadugiportal.cherokee.org/. Select “Applications” from the top blue navigation bar and select “Angle Project” from the list of programs.
Applicants must provide proof of income, proof of residency, photo identification, tribal citizenship card for all children. For each eligible child, $75 will be provided for the parent or guardian to purchase Christmas gift.
For assistance or questions about the application, call 918-453-5058 during normal business hours (8am to 5pm).

Due to limited room availability, Afton asked that visiting teams notify their fans that bringing balls to play catch or attempting to play games around the field is not allowed at their stadium and they will ask you to stop, or they could ask violators to leave if they cannot help with the rule.
