Fairland Public Schools Safety Notice

We are aware of the recent violent “Cat in the Hat” TikTok trend circulating on social media.

Fairland Public Schools takes the safety and well-being of our students and staff very seriously. Our SRO and Police Chief, Officer Roselini, is aware of this nationwide trend, which has also included references to several Oklahoma schools. The information has been reported to the Oklahoma Counter Terrorism Center, and we will continue to work closely with local and state law enforcement while monitoring the situation.

At this time, we have received no information indicating a specific or credible threat to Fairland Public Schools.

We ask parents and guardians to remind students that if they encounter a social media trend involving violence, threats, weapons, or content intended to make others feel unsafe, they should not participate, share, or engage with it. Students should report concerning content to a trusted adult or school official.

Thank you for helping us keep our students informed, responsible, and safe.

Let’s continue to make Fairland a place where we look out for one another and keep Owl Pride positive, respectful, and safe.

It's GAME DAY! FHS travels to Pawhuska tonight for the first game of the season! Let's Go, Owls!

(Reminder: There are a lot of scammers advertising streaming for all events, please do not click on their links! If we know a game will be streamed, we will publish that information. There is a popular one that disguises itself as OSSA but it is not the official site, it's always in the comments but the official OSSAA site does not post so please do not click on the links. We spend a lot of time blocking those sites but they keep coming back)

Good Luck, Owls!

✨ DRESS TO IMPRESS DAY! ✨

On the first of every month, Fairland Schools is encouraging our students and staff to put their best foot forward with Dress to Impress Day! ❤️🖤

And remember—you do NOT need a suit or fancy clothes to make a great impression! 👔✨

Simply wear the best that you have, take a little extra time with your grooming and hygiene, and come to school feeling confident and ready to shine!

A great impression isn't about how much your clothes cost—it’s about showing pride in yourself, respect for others, and confidence in who you are.

So shine those shoes, comb that hair, freshen up, put on your favorite nice outfit, and get ready to DRESS TO IMPRESS! 🌟

Look good. Feel confident. Be your best.

From Mr. Laverty:

This form will be coming home with your student if it hasn't already. It's the Economically Disadvantaged Form, please take the time to fill this out and send back with your student. This helps us receive Federal Funding and is very important. We appreciate your help.
