Parents,

As we begin the second semester after the break, we would like to remind you of an important scheduling change approved by our Board last Spring and shared with you during the following months.

Fairland Public Schools will be transitioning to a four-day instructional week, effective at the start of the second semester. Students will not attend school on Mondays. Instruction will take place Tuesday through Friday each week, however, if we miss school days for bad weather, those Mondays will be used to make up for those.

Please plan accordingly for this adjustment, including transportation, childcare, and student schedules. We appreciate your continued support and partnership as we implement this change and work to ensure a successful and productive semester for all students. Please see school calendar attached.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and enjoys spending time with their family. School will be closed Monday, December 22nd - Monday, January 5th. We will see everyone on Tuesday, January 6, 2026! Enjoy your break!

This team gave us a season we will never forget. The Fairland Owls fought until the very last second and showed the heart, grit, and pride that define our program.

We are especially proud to recognize our seniors, who not only led this historic run but also earned Class A-II District 4 honors. Your leadership, hard work, and commitment have left a lasting legacy.

A huge shoutout to the incredible video production by Corbin Williams for capturing this journey so perfectly, and to Jeremy Barnett who wrote and sang the original song featured in this hype video. Your talent helped bring the emotion and pride of this season to life.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and the entire Fairland community for the unbelievable support all season long. From the stands to the sidelines, you made every moment special.

This season may be over, but the foundation is set. We’re grateful, we’re proud, and we’re looking forward to building on this success in the years to come.
