Mission Statement or saying: "To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation."

Members: Fairland FCCLA currently has 93 students affiliated in FCCLA.

Grades Available to Join: 8th-12th grades

News: FCCLA had seven students compete in District STAR events in Vinita in November. All of them placed 2nd or above which automatically gives them a place to compete in Regionals on January 30th. FCCLA had the opportunity to cook and serve a meal for the Fairland Lions Club on December 9th. FCCLA mad Christmas treat boxes for the disabled veterans on December 17th. FCCLA will sponsor a blood drive on January 15th,2025.

Awards/Accomplishments: Mrs. Dushane was awarded the National 2023-2024 FCCLA Adviser Award in Seattle Washington in July of 2024. The Fairland FCCLA chapter received the FCS participation award from Oklahoma FCCLA, recognizing the number of students enrolled in our FCS program to the number of students in FCCLA.

Meeting Information: The Fairland Chapter meets once a month and schedules STAR event practices often. Students are encourage to engage in the google classroom for further information and updates.
